Therapeutic support that builds emotional safety, strengthens regulation, and allows children to re-engage with learning.

Supporting children to feel safe, seen and understood so they can grow with confidence.

Integrative | Creative | Relationship-Led

Alongside my SEMH and SEND consultancy work, I offer therapeutic support that focuses directly on the emotional worlds of children and young people.

My therapeutic work is grounded in relational, trauma-informed and developmentally aware practice. It recognises that many children, particularly those with SEMH and SEND profiles, cannot always express their experiences through words alone.

My therapeutic training is through:

  • IATE (Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education)

  • PTUK (Play Therapy UK)

This training informs my integrative, creative, and developmentally informed approach to therapeutic work, ensuring that practice is ethical, reflective, and child/person-centred.

SERVICES

SCHOOL THerapeutic Play

I offer school-based therapeutic play services designed to support children who may be experiencing:

  • Emotional dysregulation

  • Anxiety or school-based distress

  • Attachment-related difficulties

  • Trauma or relational disruption

  • Social and communication challenges

  • SEMH-linked behavioural needs

Therapeutic play provides children with a safe, contained space to process experiences using symbolic play, creativity and metaphor rather than direct questioning.

Play is the natural language of children. Through carefully structured sessions, I support pupils to explore feelings safely, build regulation skills and develop stronger emotional understanding.

Counselling for young adults

In 2026/27, I will also be offering counselling for young adults navigating transitions, identity development, anxiety, educational pressure and emotional overwhelm.

This work is integrative and relational, drawing on:

  • Creative and expressive approaches

  • Talking therapy

  • Developmental and neuroscience-informed understanding

  • Emotional regulation and self-awareness tools

Sessions are paced according to individual need and aim to support greater clarity, resilience and confidence.

Therapeutic provision within schools can support:

Emotional regulation-Increased engagement & Reduced escalation- Greater relational safety.

  • Integrative therapeutic work for secondary-aged students

  • Counselling support for young people transitioning to post-16 pathways

  • SEMH-focused relational mentoring

  • Reintegration preparation for pupils experiencing school-based distress

All work is trauma-informed, developmentally aware and neurodiversity-affirming.
